This is a very cool event and Kyle, you have done a poor job telling all what happens on the 4th.
All day long is a R/C fly in. Anything flys. We have, Jets, Big Birds, Profiles, sport planes, everything.
Every once and while you have to land to let a full scale land. Its held at the Bay City airport, we fly off the taxi way.
A few of the planes that flew in last year were: T-6's, a bunch of them, real Zero's, P-40, Avenger, B-25 and we have had an Apache there before.
At 5 or 6, the flight line closes for R/C and a full scale air show starts. Most of the warbirds take off and do a Tora Tora Tora thing. There is always an aerobatic pilot or two there, they do a show.
Flight line opens back up to R/C until nightfall when a huge fire work display happens.
There are rides and stuff for the kids to do. Food and lots and lots of airplanes.
The City's 4th of July celebration is this, Flightfest.

Yes come down and i forgot to tell ya that the flight line is open till dark and a little after dark so if anybody wants to strap glow sticks on your airplane go ahead. Cause we can fly till about 9:30 pm and that is when the fire work display starts. So come on down and enjoy the full day of flying model airplanes and then for the full scale!
