Kyosho DBX vs. CEN Talon NX
I'm in the market for a new RC car after selling my old one a while back. I've narrowed it down to the Kyosho DBX:
http://www.kyosho.com/eng/products/r...duct_id=102632
or the CEN Talon NX:
http://www.cenracing.com/cars/nx/talon.html
I know I want to get a 1/10 scale buggy.
Has anyone heard anything about either of these cars in the way of quality or durability or anything? They are nearly the same price so that doesn't matter. Any suggestions on which one to get?

There are no quality 1/10 nitro buggies. 1/10 buggies are for racing only (electric) and the ones you listed are very cheaply made. Look into Losi, Associated, Hot Bodies/HPI, Duratax, and maybe Traxxas.

The quality of CEN's plastic leaves a lot to be desired, we have two CEN MG 16s and while they are fun, fast, and have a great engine we are always breaking things like bumpers, wheels, body mounts, you name it. Do yourself a favor and buy a 1/8 buggy if you want a tough, reliable, and fast 4wd.

The kyosho is very well built. If you choose to go that route, you will not be disappointed.
Also, have you considered 4wd corr trucks? Kyosho has a new one off the DBX chassis and Traxxas has one based on the revo chassis (traxxas slayer) Both are very cool!

I think the kyosho is a nice looking buggy myself. if you are wanting to go fairly cheap, and you can easily get parts for the kyosho, then go for it. The videos i have seen of them, they seem a little undergeared, but look to be built decent.
If you like buggies, a 1/8 is a much better choice if you can afford it though. They are built much tougher, including the drivetrain.
Good luck with whatever you get[8D]
