Default RE: RCBEE's new products!

Hi Edison,

What is the signal voltage booster cable shown on your webpage ?

Is there a problem using your gear door sequencer (US$51) with low voltage 2.4GHx Rx's ?

I have 2 of your gear door sequencer, no cable booster was supplied.

Thanks,

Julian.

Hi Julian,

The gear door sequencer (USD49.00) is not compatible with low voltage 2.4Ghz Rx's, so the booster enables the sequencer to operate at 2.4Ghz.

I've sent PM to you.

Edison,

Thanks for the explanation.

My mistake, when I purchased your door sequencers a few months ago I was using 35MHz Tx, now I have upgraded to 2.4GHz FASST.
I will order cables from my UK supplier (ZedJet) if possible.

Julian.

That's sort of answers the question as to why you never came out a few moths ago and answered the question directly when it was asked. I wished you would have told me that then.

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_79...tm.htm#8519906

I have been using with a PCM receiver with no problems of course; however, I am about to go to a FASST system and it sounds like I will need a buffer/driver.

I don't see where the manual states you need the buffer for 2.4 Ghz receivers.

Also a suggestion would be to put you manuals into Adobe PDF format instead of jpeg format.

Additionally my browser (Firefox) doesn't display you page correctly see screen capture, you might want to take a look at fixing it.

I have been using one the RCBee sequencers and it works fine with the Futaba FASST R6014 RF 2.4 GHz if you use the amplifyer lead.

We already have a signal booster if required, see [link=http://www.dreamworksrc.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1653]HERE[/link]

Only needed if using the FASST system.

They ARE compatible with 2.4Ghz as listed in Features in P.1of2.

Yes, we will put the manuals into PDF format.

The propblem has been fixed for using Firefox to display! Thanks for telling me that!

Will provide video later.

Edison,
Firefox fix looks good.

I think there is confusion, I see where your new air control unit states it is compatible with the 2.4 Ghz systems (i.e.although I don't know if you are talking about signal drive level compatibility as the servo drive signal levels are not mentioned in the specifications)

The confusion is I was talking about the gear door sequencer, the same as Julian did in the second post on this thread.
There is no mention of servo drive level compatibility with the 2.4 Ghz receivers.
Now because of new questions asked in this thread I found out that signal level booster is needed which was not available when I purchased my unit a few months ago.

Before converting your manuals to PDF format please consider adding this information to the gear door sequencer manual.

Also considering the huge movement to 2.4 Ghz systems you may also consider to either update the input circuitry or provide the signal booster with the units purchased or maybe offer a different P/N for 2.4 Ghz systems users

Rich,

Sorry for the confusion. The air control unit is compatible with all standard PWM servos.

We will add the info about 2.4Ghz to the sequencer manual, which is necessary.

As some customers still chose to buy the sequencer alone(they knew the booster for supporting 2.4Ghz), so we will not change the product.
