noob troubles......
so i got a t-maxx 3.3 ran great for the first few runs..slashed a tire..threw on a buddies smaller old t-maxx tires. tuned it up ran great then the problems started.(apart from breaking a servo and body ect ect ect ha) when i started the truck it would just go to max rpm...so i put the idle needle to lowest spec and it still did this.. so i thought air leak...turns out the lil silver piece by the h.s.p needle stripped and popped out....idk how ..im just re talented i guess at breaking things..so a buddy gave me his 2.5 carb .and i tuned it as best i could but this(sorry for the story) is where my problem lays. when i start the truck it doesnt idle normally and i have to give it gas and after it warms up a bit it gets harder to start. as it runs and slows down to a crawl it cuts out.. or when im going off a jump and brake in air it cuts out. ive loosened the slipper and it helpd a lil and i have tried tuning it to the best i can but i just cant get it to idle correctly or idle without rolling away when it starts...is this cuz of a carb off a 2.5(looked the same as a 3.3) or just something beyond my mind..as this is my first nitro..thx to who help
