Default DL-50 fuel tank

How much flight time would one expect to get from a 16 oz tank, if it is a medium weight plane doing scale flight? Thanks, Charlie

Depending on how you fly, about 10-12 minutes with a couple ounces for reserve.

I set my Futaba 9C timer to 8 minutes. The timer only times when the throttle stick is pushed above idle. So I probably fly more like 9-10 minutes since I go to idle all the time during my manuevers (down lines). I land and have 7 ounces left pretty much every time. So I use 9 ounces out of the 16 oz tank. For me 16 oz is plenty. I like to keep my payload light. a 20 oz tank is a lot of fuel for this engine.

Three 50's on a 40 pound plane, sounds fun! They won't have to work to hard, 16 oz. tanks should be plenty.
