Default LEXAN COMPATIBLE PAINT??

just got a very kool saleen body for a 1/10 and needing to ask can I use laquer paint......if not what others are compatible?

You need to use a paint designed for use on Lexan.  Otherwise, it may crack and chip off when the body bends/flexes.

I use both pactra paints and fascolor.

<span style="font-size: medium">SURE you can!!! Just use the special primer and you'll be fine. You just can't spray any paint on lexan.</span>

Ive always used automotive spray paints rarely chips off unless you hit something REALLY hard lol

Just make sure the primer is transparent otherwise you'll driver a round with that really cool 'grey-primer' look.

look for polycarbonate paint... (polycarbonate is the same thing. lexan is just the commen name) your LHS should have plenty

dependingon the color and the effect you want to get you, you can back the pain with surttant colors.
Example: ussaly brights and candys will be backed with silver or gold</p>

ok, lots to learn!! so let me get this striaght&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;yo u paint the interior with whatever color/colors then when yourdone spraythe whole inside white,is that the idea?
again, will lacquer eat the lexan ? if so are you talking about clear primer? and why use primer anyway?

Use paint for polycarbonate, like the Tamiya PS series or any other paint specifically designed for RC car bodies. Other paints will apply fine generally, but won't hold up to the flexing of the body.

Yeah you paint the inside of the body, then back it for added durability.
