Default Conversion



I want to convert my old electric Rustler to nitro. is there anyway to do this. i just want to do this as a fun project.</p>

The gearbox would need to be somehow turned around or swapped out. You would need hack up the chassis and fabricate a plate, reinforcement bar, and mount for the engine to sit. The end result would be a Nitro Sport, more or less.

Probably a lto cheaper to sell the Rustler and get a nitro.  Also a lot mroe durable if you do it that way.

Very difficult electric to nitro. Much easier the other way around.

At the very least you would need the Nitro chassis and gearbox. You'd also need all of the misc nitro parts and pieces. You're better off buying a used nitro rusty off ebay. They're pretty cheap these days.
