Revo 3.3 new to nitro
I just bought a Revo 3.3 about a week or so ago, I'm new to the whole nitro truck thing and was having some problems tuning. I do understand the whold consept so when giving me help you can say high speed needle insteat of "that screw on top of the card" and so on. Anyway The temp gun I had was shooting about 25 - 30 higher then the one a fellow had as the hobbyshop so he gave me another that was shooting about the same at room temp. I'm still not sure weather it's getting off at higher temps or not. To get the Revo running where I think is feels good, good power, smoke from the exaust all the way through, shifting into 2nd good idleing ok the temp will shoot up to like 280 - 300. I'm useing byron fuel 20% by the way. Thanks for any help or advice.

My revo doesnt run right under 250. Temps are more of a guideline then anything. Cut a whole in your windshield to get more airflow aroung the motor or just cut the whole windshield out

Or forgot to mention that, the whole windshield is cut out also the back glass and bed up to about a half inch from the body pins and the ez start plug.

I found out with someones help that the "slipper clutch" (that's what he called it I don't know if thats te proper name) was loose, something I didn't know to check. That seemed to help a whole lot.
