Default easy way for duel rudder servo?

Whats the best way to use duel rudder servos when you radio cant mix them. I think I can mix the duel elev with the elev mix on my prism. I thought of using a y harness and turning one of the servos around and using differt length hardware. Would this work?? Thanks Dan

My plane is a cap 232 used and it allready set up this way.

Get a JR matchbox, Futaba also has their version. Smart-fly makes one called an equalizer that's available as a 2 servo or 4 servo output. These will let you reverse and set end points.

Default Y harness

Can I do it with just 2 y harnesses. I was given the plane and am using spare servos from other flyers to finish it. + I am unemployed otherwise I would buy a new radio!

Thanks a bunch Dan

You could use a servo reverser which cost about $15 or you could reverse the leads going to the servo motor and pot. Another alternative is to use a hitec digital servo and reverse it with the programmer. But if you are low on funds the cheapest way is to reverse the leads inside the servo.

Default Can I mount one backwards

Can I mount one servo the other direction and use a longer rod??? If not is changing the leads easy. My neighbor is really good with solder?

THanks Dan

How are the rudder servos mounted. Are they on opposite sides in the tail. It sounds like you will be using standard, non digital, servos. You can probably get by with the longer push rod.

Default side by side

Yes they are on oppisite sides of the tail. Elevator and rudder servos parallel on each side of the tail. Sorry to all but this is all new to me. Thanks again Dan

Now that I reread the post you only need to reverse one of the servos for the elevators. The rudder servos are not reversed because they are in a push-pull configuration. Just use a Y harness for the rudder servos.

Default THanks

If I have this right; Elv servos, one needs to be reversed or mixed with my radio and the rudder is push pull so it will be ok with a y harness. Thanks for all the responses.

Yes, that's why I asked about how the rudder servos were mounted, with push pull you should be OK.
