Hello everyone............I am starting to buildmy next project which will be a 1/4 scale"Barrel Back" from S&G craft I purchased the entire kit minus the motor quite a while ago. ThenS&G craft wasoffering the homelite 30ccr/c engine. Since this model will more scale than a race boat I was wondering if anyone has experimented withthe Hondaengine gas trimmer enginesfor r/c application or even went as far to actuallyconvert it for water cooling. Any imput would greatly be appreciated.

I have seen a couple of threads where guys have used the honda 4 with success. Perfect application for it. I have not read of anyone doing a water cooled conversion for one though - probably more a challenge on the 4 stroke head than on the more simple 2 stroke.
Theres a couple videos on youtube with 4 stroke boats running at a pretty good clip.

Hope you keep us posted on the build as it would be something to see
