Default Engine shaft

Hi all, may I know that how to know or mention on engine shaft?? Long, short?? SG is for what?? And how to know our RC can install long or short shaft?? Thanks.

Default Engine shaft

Your car either uses a Threaded or SG style shaft

SG:

Notice the threaded needs a clutch nut and the SG has the pilot shaft built into it.

That mean all the RC can use both type of engine?? The car with centex clutch must use SG and without centex need to use threadad?? Thanks.
