RE: t maxx glow plugs
The pro .15 has alot of heat issues. Even Traxxas will admit to that. You are probably frying your glow plugs with the tune.
I'd check everything for leaks, seal it up, then re-tune. Glow plugs should never go out that often.

RE: t maxx glow plugs
moe in wichita ks i have a t-maxx 3.3 i burned up 3-4 plugs in less than 1 gal of fuel. i switched to 30% and richened it up with a #3 plug , planing on going to a #8. with the hot plug dont be afraid to go rich. years ago when my dad and i drag raced the 1/4 mile, 392 hemis, 440s, my dad would say "its better to foul out a plug cause its cold or rich than burn a hole in a piston cause you have to hot of plug" it seems to me on a 3.3 it takes a LOT of run time before you see any color in the plug, so go more by heat of engine and how it runs.

RE: t maxx glow plugs
rcslsafut,
I have the same exact problem that you have. I don't know why but every couple of tanks I'm fowling out a plug and it really pisses me off when they get fowled cause I can't run till I get a new one and there kinda expensive. I have a new 3.3 with probably 3/4 of a gallon throgb it. Anybody have some advice??

RE: t maxx glow plugs
I had very bad luck with the Traxxas plugs. I swiched to a McCoy MC-59 and will never go back to the stock plugs. They just didn't last.</p>
