Rich or lean? I'm really confused O.o
Hello
I recently got a new engine its an Omega X2 .21 by team Picco.
I almost finished breaking it in using the traxxas method and i'm on the last one. When I W.O.T it bogs and sputters (kinda like what you see on movies when the car runs out of gas or the engine explodes) and then dies.
From my experience I know this is signs of it being lean...but i've turned the needles to the left which is rich? and it still bogs and sputters. Anyone know what the problem is?
Thanks.

Yes, counter-clockwise is richer. You're LSN is probably set too rich. After you start it, bump the throttle quickly a couple times, then try to move. This should clear out the carb enough for you to get it moving, then you can tune much easier.

it is most likely the low speed needle. Get the engine running then let it sit at idle.. if it eventually slows down and/or dies completely it is most likely too rich, which is what I am guessing is the case. It's loading up with fuel.
