Default Y harness question

If I solder 2 servo's and a exrtension lead together ie black wire together, red together and orange together, would this make a Y harness??
Thanks in advance

Yes, it will make a Y-harness.

trouble with this thought is yes it will work...you can but should you? y harnesses are cheap and when finished with the application you can unplug and press on, with a y harnes and 2 servos....if you solder everthing...now you have to unsolder and you have 2 servos and an extension that require more soldering to get 2 servos

Jetmech,
You are correct. However, solder connections, if done properly,
are better electrical and mechanical connections than all of those plugs.
I probably wouldn't do it with a "Y".
However, when I need just an extension I usually solder it on.
Just my opinion, I could be wrong (Dennis Miller).
Good Luck,

While on the subject.. I assume you can plug a Y into any slot on your receiver and use more than one? ... for instance two elevator servos.. one for each side (assuming you rotate one?)

Thanks.. im looking at doing pull pull on an elevator and that would simplify it in terms of keeping wires out of each others way for rudder and elevators.
