What large "3D" aircraft should I choose?
Hi,
I would like a large aerobatic aircraft that can "3D" but am not shure about what to choose. I am thinking a G-62 in a GP PW Extra. What do you guys think? I am only 16 and on a budget so it has to be as cheap as possible. I fly Sanwa (Airtronics) and need a servo recommmendation too. I have a large long scale project on the building board so it has to be an artf.
Any ideas?
Thanks Alan

You should be able to get a ZDZ engine at a good price in england. I would get one and put it on the Extra.

The GP Extra will do 3D providing you power it with something better than a Zenoah. Those engines are heavy and aren't very powerful. If you could get a ZDZ50, BME50 or a DA50 all those engines would power it very well and still help keep the weight down.

Dunno what it'd cost you to have large ARFs shipped across the Atlantic. You might want to look into that.
