i bought a mini mgt this spring, as my first nitro. only yesterday did i start sending it off the 1080 skateboard ramp... team associated. CHAMPIONS BY DESIGN, HUH? the thing has so many holes bored in it to fit the diff its as strong as cardboard. thats a flaw.

Do my eyes deceive me or did you snap the chassis? If so I'm impressed.

Contact Associated with details of the crash as well as a clear description and pictures of the damage and they may just make things right....

It may be a defect in yours, but who knows. I jump the heck out of my mmgt and it rarely breaks anything. Last weekend we were hitting a 3 foot tall mulch pile at full speed, sending it in the air about 6-10 feet. The pile was in a parking lot so I was landing on hard asphalt every time. I didn't break one thing and did this for almost 3 tanks, but I also landed it on the wheels everytime. Maybe if I did some crash landings I would find more weak spots. This truck is a rock as far as I'm concerned.

Yep! Champions by Design.
Though I did NOT see anything that says "indestructable"
Jump it far enough or high enough, they will break.

titanium wouldn't help, it's more rigid which makes it snap.</p>

No offense, but perhaps the better question is, "Why did YOU do that?". Hit a tree in midair, had a bad landing from doG knows how high and fast off a ramp, and then surprised when something breaks? As tough as they may be, these car cannot defy the laws of physics and metallurgy. Frankly, I've been very pleasantly surprised that I've never done any major damage on my MGT even when I launched it off an 8' high snowbank and it landed nose-first on asphalt from about 15' up. The bumper mount broke-that's it. I was expecting to see damage like yours. Again, not bashing you, just stating opinion based on several years of experience.

not so fast mr. buzzbomber that crash it rubbed the tree and landed upside down on soft dirt nothing broken and that was 2 months ago. you can say im no pro driver (im 13 years old) and ive had runaways but im pretty good its just i go fast and well... its broken what can i do.

right now i get my money from mowing the lawn and i just ordered gas so i have no cash to buy a chassis now so i did improvise. i drilled some holes in the chassis and overlapped the broken parts and used 4 tubes of super glue and the dog bones fit together, to my surprise. i just ran it a few minutes ago two tanks down the street full speed and the performance was great, exept the rear shock tower bounced around a bit. maybe i can get cash for clunkers

Like I said, no offense meant. Hang around here a while and you'll see what I mean though. It seems like every week there's a post like this:
OMG, I wuz runnng my Rustler VXL on my new 6s zippys and setup a sk8ramp and jumpef ovr my garage and it broke on the landing LOLZ! Why dors Traxxas make such cheap junk I think they should warranty it!

I wouldn't hold out much hope for your repair holding though (believe me, I have tried stuff like that in the past), so go ahead and order the broken parts as soon as you can[sm=thumbup.gif]

rc madness hates when i super glue stuff cuz it takes us hours to get off but i do it anyways!! to fix it this time i just drilled a hole through the end of the chassis then through the diff (where there are no gears) and it holds better than a new chassis (sometimes)

hilarious!!! I can honestly say I have done worse to a couple of mine no biggie though that is half the fun IMHO!!! so I wised up and traded a XXX-NT for a Savage... no more broken or bent chassis from super jumps....
