If you want nitro, the Revo 3.3 (which has been just recently been revised) is an excellent choice. Solid platform to start with and lots of aftermarket support.

The biggest online store in Canada is www.greathobbies.com, they are located in the maritimes. There should be a few local RC shops though, just do a search in your yellow pages and make some calls.
Based on the choice of the Revo I'm guessing you want a monster truck?

RE: Newbie Need help for choosing nitro truck.
you know a lot of what you buy has to do with what you want to do with it if your just going to bash round in the back yard savage is good and very durable if you
want to race revo is a better choice. if you are new to hobby grade r/cs then you might want to start with electric they make some really good trucks such as:
stampede ,rustler and there is a ton of others. nitro is expencive to begin with and then the whole time you own it .your always buying something and you are lucky if you get half out of the truck
of what you put into it . im not trying to sway you one way or the other i am just telling you what i know from personal experiance. some nitro engines can be real
fussy to start, to tune , and to keep running. electric is basicly plug and play no hasles and with the intro of lipo batterys and brushless motors it can be just as fast and fun
as nitro
my garage:savage x ,t maxx, e maxx, rc10gt,b3,rc18t,mini t, micro t, micro rs4,evader
