BVM Maverick or BVM Viper
Hi, i have a new in box BVM maverick and a new part started BVM viper, i want to convert one to turbine power, my question is which one of the two would be more suited for this and which one has the best flying qualities, i only really want to keep one as i have to many airframes and not enough engines, just want to make sure i keep the right one.
Thanks for you help in advance

RE: BVM Maverick or BVM Viper
A guy I know did the Viper and it flew really well, however it was also very small and fast. Not a lot of room for fuel either.
My first turbine jet was a converted Maverick and it was an excellent sport trainer. It handled extremely well at all speeds, and if you can find a set of Leading Edge droops for it, even better. They help a lot, specially on that last base to final leg.
I think overall the Maverick is the better and easier conversion.

The conversion kit looks good, but which ever one i convert is a uni project for the girlfriends engerneering degree so all the parts will be made by the uni apart from the thrust tube which i will buy from wren
