Default 1/8 scale DHC 2 BEAVER

Does anyone know of a kit or plan for a 1/8 scale Beaver? I'd like to build one and use 4 cycle power.

Default Beaver

AirSail Intl. (New Zealand) makes a 60" Beaver. Third Coast Hobbies in Houston sells them (thirdcoasthobbies.com)
These are nice kits.

Almost forgot! Unionville Hobbies makes a 6' version that is closer to 1/8 scale, if not right at it; not sure about the web site but I just saw a few on eBay.

Hope this helps!

Default Beaver

de hog,

Great Hobbies in PEI Canada has these kits in stock. Their Web Site is www.greathobbies.com/ . Their phone number is on the web site. Unionville Hobbies offers the Beaver in 72" (1/8 scale), 96" (1/6 scale in radial and turbobeaver versions), and 144" (1/4 scale). The also offer the de Havilland Otter in 72" and 96" sizes. They are nice flyers. Here is a pic of my 6' Beaver on floats. It has plenty of power with a Saito 56.

Jollidude, Thanks a lot for the info, it's just what I've been looking for. I knew about Unoinville but couldn't find description or picture of the Beaver. I am going to order one right away. Thanks a lot Pete
