revo an revo 3.3
What are the differences onthe revo an the revo 3.3 5308 besides the motor. i going to get a used revo here and i really dont know what the differences are between the two because if anything i might just get a revo because its cheaper. but otherwise tell me i the differences between the two an if the parts are interchangable between the two. also i notice that there are two traxxas revo 3.3 with the model #5309 the old one with reverse an the new one that comes with the 2.4ghz radio.

what about the 5308 that only has a FOC (which i hope means forward only clutch)? an tell me why please why not to go with the old 2.5 model

the 2.5's chassis is shorter, and if you want to get the center diff or stuff like that you have to upgrade quite a bit of things. Go with the 5308, it already has the "forward only conversion" done to it. Or buy the newest 5309 and then install the foc (forward only conversion). The best thing do is is find a used 5308 IMO.

thats what i had in mind was the 5308. so the 2.5 just isnt worth getting despite the fact its a revo. ok because i just want to make sure that the 2.5 isnt just a lower model were its really simple to upgrade to 3.3 specs but doesnt sound that way
