Default VXL-3s LVC Problem

I sent my vxl-3s esc out to traxxas because it was having a problem with the low voltage cut off activating to early. Today I just recieved my so called "NEW ONE" but it looked like it was one of the ones that someone had sent in like me that had the same problem. I had scrtches and stuff on it and looked like there was a previous owner. Well anyways it had the same problem as the one I sent in. I am positive that it isn't my batteries fault because I have tried 3 lipos in it and they all had the same problem. Has anyone else had this problem with there esc, because I am on the edge of buying a mamba esc because of the issues I have been having?

Thanks, Chris

Default RE: VXL-3s LVC Problem

I had a similar problem when I was running it overgeared in tough terrain. It doesn't handle LVC like most ESCs, it just kicks back into the 1/2 throttle mode (training mode is what they call it I think). Most ESCs like the castle or novak will pull back on the throttle to limit the current, but recover normally when the voltage goes back up so you don't really notice it.
