Default US Eng 41cc

I just changed out the stock carb for a new WT-249. So I would have a choke. Side benefit + 200rpm

Good info. I have one in a BT corsair. That choke would be handy.

Yea choke is needed for sure to prime the engine and I was not going to cut a hole in the eng cowl so I could get a finger in there.
I guess US eng. was trying to keep the price down with that choice of carb. I bought the eng about 12 years ago and i am just getting around to using it.

A US41 was about as basic as you could get and still turn a 18 X 10 at 7400

Where did you get that carb? I'm thinking I should upgrade. The corsair is on the down hill side of some repairs after sitting for quite awhile. I'm getting ready to do a check flight about nov/dec I hope.

I used a WT-338 carb on my 41(has choke)....I think the 338 carb is off a g-38...engine is a whole lot better to start....
