Default Mini ordinance

Well, Ive had many suggestions on power plants so far for my F-18.All under the assumption that I was going to be flying it with a full ordinance. So I decided to split up the package between my 16 and Rafale, So my 18 only ended up with a small outfit.

So Im wondering, with the depicted ordinance do you think I could benefit from a rhino? If not I will go with an eagle.

Is this outfit even necessary to worry about? Would I really notice it? I may still add one center drop tank..

I don't need anything overkill but would like good power.

Thanks again, Pete

Default RE: Mini ordinance

I flew my F-18C with wing drop tanks and wing tip missles fitted with a 30 lb thrust turbine and it offered plenty of thrust for me.... More power is always nice to have but the penalty is having to carry a higher fuel load/weight which generally mean shorter flights as well. 27-30 lb thrust is a good match for most of the popular 1/8 scale F-18C bugs in my opinion.

Cheers- Marty

Thanks Marty. I was thinking since everything is in close to the fuse that would help as well.
