Default brushless motors

hey guys
looking at getting in to racing
going to race in the 10.5t class

want to know is there a different from one brushless motor to the next, is there one out there thats is just the best you can buy.
cause price wise they are very close together.

Tekin, Novak, LRP all make good motors. Sensored tends to be better for racing. Also, if they are following some sort of rules, like ROAR, then make sure it's on the list.

I just swapped my Novak motors for the Fantom Ion motors. The Fantom is vented and so runs a lot cooler and has adjustable timing. Trust me, the timing makes a HUGE difference to the speed.
