Default Gearing help

I know nothing about gearing. I have research but still... I'ma little lost.

I have a :
TB-03D (locked Rear/Front One Way)
-64T Spur
-22T Pinion
-Novak Ballistic 3S 8.5T Brushless System

The directions recommended 10T-15T Pinion. I want a little more toque out of it. My Brushless System runs warm but not hot. I used a Intellect 5000mah NIMH Battery w/Deans connectors.

What would you guys recommended?

What type and where do I get Tamiya pinion gears as wide as my stock one at?

your FDR is about 7.5, go lower in your pinion size and see what results you get

I was thinking of getting this, installing it. And hoping for the best. It cost money to test things you know?

Or this:

I was hoping someone had my setup already and already did the gearing.

Where can I get the right pinion gears at? I don't want to change my Spur gear.

Tower hobbies has a huge selection but I don't know which one to get.

when using brushless it's recommended that you use stock setting if you going to be bashing, if extra torque is needed for comp as who you competing against for tips. I'm sure they will help out

Well, I was hoping if you guys can let me know what type pinions above in the links are compatable with my TB-03D. I heard 48P and 64P reqwuired changing the spur. I want to know which pinion I need without chaing the spur.

My motor runs real cool so I feel I can safley get some more torque out of it. Maybe move down to 19T-18T maybe 20T it's only a small drop. Unless chaning the pinion is real sensitive on the motor.

Motors like to rev out and that helps them keep cool. I've always been told that they should come off track under 50 degrees celsius so maybe you're not far out but a couple of teeth a time is the way to go to experiment. Dont know if your car is on there but have you tried www.gearchart.com to find out the ratio's?
