Well, I got this engine in the truck yesterday. Picked it up used for a good price with aluminum clutch shoes, and it is running great. It really brought this truck to life, and it also really shows how well this thing can stick to the ground with the extra power. This thing is making me want to get into racing Let me know what you think. The video is not the best, but it was a 1 man show as usual. [8D]

Great video,
the 4.6 is running well, what pipe you got on there?
i have a newly broken in 4.6 mgt with alloy clutch shoes and a set of kyosho 1.1mm clutch springs,
wheelies forward and reverse with ease,
gota love the mgt as its easy to work on, and a great truck for sending off a ramp love jumping mine,
got the losi xxl ht pipe of ebay cheap, it makes good power and runs real quiet also.
enjoy[8D]

Thanks!
I am just running the old stock .21 pipe right now. It seems to be doing well. I wouldnt mind to have a better pipe if i found one real cheap, but so far i am pretty happy with it how it is.
I have jumped mine any yet, but i may have to give it a whirl sometime soon. Im not into the real big jumps, but i do like a little jumping every now and then. [8D]

I got the mgt 8.0 body on mine, and put the spring preload spacers from my savage on it,
leaves the mgt a suspension a bit stiffer for landing jumps and doesn`t make the truck any less stable,
the savage is much more steady with the preloaders removed aswell,

Don’t let that engine go to your head it’s durable alright! But not a racer by any means. Not to say it’s the engine that always wins most times it’s the driver.
My picco will rule that engine. But my driving skills wont rule yours, that’s another story. That engine can use so top end help for sure.
I found this for .99 on the bay I wouldn’t worry about looks. New is $36-$45. This pipe is about ¾” longer than what your running so fit may be a problem
I got around this with the Dace 23MM wheel hubs.
Forgot to say you do have it running good!
A Used OFNA 086
