Default Water jacket issue. Need help

Hello all. Ive been in the RC hobby for a really long time but Im brand new to the boat world (2 weeks). I purchased a nice mono hull from a buddy and it ran great but yesterday while running it, I noticed that it would stall while running and it had water in the hull. After about 15 min of inspecting, I noticed that the head on one of the screws that hold the waterjacket in place had broken and left the screw in the head. I brought it home and couldnt get the screw out. Didnt want to try to tap it because it might cause more damage. After talking it over with another buddy, he suggested that I go with a waterjacket that was held down by the head bolts and I came across the one in the link below. I was wondering if this one would work or if anyone had any other suggestions that I might try? Ive been bitten by the boat bug and would like to have something resolved as soon as possible to be able to take it out again this coming sunday. Thanks

Oh, I forgot, the boat has a Zen 260PUM

That would likely fit it since it was designed for the Venom is a Zenoah clone which is a almost identical to the Zenoah. There are others available to surely fit the Zenoah and have the four through bolt mounting also. You could get a new cylinder also they aren't very expensive. If it is stock I believe that to be a better option.

Cylinder only cost $30.00 and a new ring is $5.50

I have drilled and tapped that hole, not too hard to do and lot's of meat there to tap into. Make sure you get a bottoming tap and measure carefully.

I priced cylinder and saw that they didnt cost that much but after taking the cylinder head off yesterday, I can see that it has been ported. Im going to go ahead today and take it to the shop and give the tapping a shot. Hope it works. Thanks

Thanks TopSecret. I'll keep that in mind. Do you have a site? Whats your specialty? A name like that sounds interesting.
