We also laid to rest today an officer killed in his garage in a robbery attempt (Officer Nettleton). The gang-banger a-holes didn't know the guy was a police officer. The prior Marine was able to shoot one of them in the testicles before his wounds overcame him. That is the only reason they were captured.

I've been sitting all day reflecting on what I am thankfull for this year and it is hard to think of anything other than my family and friends and what health I have left. It has been a rough year for our famiy since our last thanksgivng; we have lost my wifes mother who lived with us for her last 2.5 years, her sister 4 months later and 15 friends as of yesterday with only to hear of Johnny H's passng. I hope all of you had a good thanksgiving with your families and friends we don't have them forever love them while you get to have them in your life.
