Default Losi comp crawler

Do you need to run lipo? and any suggestions. I am going to run a novak goat w /esc. And for a radio futaba 3pmx I am still not sure on servos trying to keep down on price.

The LCC is designed to run lipo. But you can get custom configured NiMH packs from www.cheapbatterypacks.com that would fit. For a lipo, something in the 1300mah range with a 30C discharge rate would be good.

I'm running a Hitec 7955. Expensive, but reliable for the most part. Great warranty/service department when/if the servo goes bad. Look for a servo with 200oz of torque MINIMUM. Ideally, you want 250oz torque or greater. You want metal/titanium gears. But with servos over 200oz of torque, they almost always have metal gears anyway.

I would also recommend an external BEC like the one Castle Creation makes. This is pretty much required if you run a 3S lipo.
