Bayou City Flyers 3rd Annual Jet Event
I have submitted the sanction request for our jet event to be held on April 16th and 17th here in Houston. It will be a 2 day event with awards, food and tons of fun. The event will be leld on a Friday and Saturday. Landing fee will be 20.00 per day. I will get back with you as soon as the dates are confirmed. This is a totally fun event, just ask all the people that showed up last year..Kevin Thoughly will be the event co-ordinator and I will be the C.D. Talk to you soon....Ray Blair. 713-805-6320...

Small update. The pilots fee will include lunch both days and pizza one night for the registered pilots. Pilots are more then welcome to stay and fly Sunday. More later!
Motor homes are welcome Starting Thursday through Sunday night no hookups. We will hopefully have dry weather and be able to park on the grassy areas this year. Look forward to seeing everyone again this year.

Ok, it,s offical. The Bayou City Jet event is set for April 16 and 17..R V's are welcome ( no hook ups, sorry ). There will be 5 trophies . The club is also providing 2 meals. The price is 20.00 per day for Friday and saturday. Flying Sunday untill noon is included and you are welcome to stay as long as you like if you want to share the runway after 12 o'clock. Could I get a tntative count on how many will be comming?? Bring your night flyers if you want to.....We are pumped.. I take it then it's O.K. to stay at the field overnite, and generators are not a problem?????

Dan, it's great to hear from you. As kevin said, generators are noooo problem. I plane on having my RV there too. By the way Buck if you are reading this I am sorry I was out of town when you first posted about the event. I talked to Randy Brown yesterday and he says there is a good chance he will be at the event. Of course you know Randy, that means tons of fun anndddddd thats right, FOOD.. Hope you can make it Randy, with OR without food...Ray

Well I have some bad news. The Event has been canceled. I am in the process of setting the event up at another location. There are three other very good locations that may be available to us. The problem is setting something up in between other events so as not to conflict with them... I will keep you posted....Ray
