FORMATION FLYING
THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THAT CHRIS(ME) AND MARK TRY TO FLY FORMATION @ BIG APPLE JETS......ANY IDEAS?....TO MAKE IT BETTER... THANXS

hmmm maybe try flying slower routines first, and just have you two flying in the air, less distractions... Formation flying is a rush thou Cool stuff guys!

Flying formation yes, doing it with other planes up at the same time-suicidal.
You guys must have more money than sense to do that.

Takes more than one flight to get into "the grove" and finely match the throttle settings used for slow flight or blazing fast passes. Usally helps to set some rules both of you know before hand like who is either ALWAYS going to be on the inside or outside of the turns and who will be the leader, always helps if the slower plane leads and the faster accelerating plane follows. Callers for each pilot is a must aswell, and cruicial for those opposing knife edge passes [sm=bananahead.gif]
I don't have any video to share but I have a few pictures that were snapped with a rapid shot camera, these passes were probably around 170mph if I had to guess. Fun times...
