New brushless motor contender
Hey guys not sure if anybody has heard of these yet but Tacon motors are sold at hobbyparts.com they look and run fairly close to a castle creations motor. A little heavier but are better then EZ Run motors by far. And they best part is 540 size are $23 right now.

I dunno said this somewhere else earlier I looked at them but shied away from them due to the weird spec sheets they have, and the fact there used in exceed RC's
I still am tempted though to try the 1200kv one seeing my EZ-run 32t cogs like mad

RE: New brushless motor contender
I bought 2 of the 3650 tacon motors one 4420kv and 3900kv they are way asom very smoth very fast and the 4420 kv gave me 14 minutes more runtime over the 8.5 ezrun I to am runing them on ezrun 60amp esc. I can't say enough good stuff about them major competitor in my opinion . I'v run just about every brushless set up out from 1/16 to 1/5 scale stuff and I hope thease tack off.

Yeah my 8.5t ez run cogs like crazy when off throttle.

Kinda why I got the 32t for my over geared RC
Setting it to 100% punch alleviated some of the cogging but it still does it
