RE: .06 Mod Pinion
Robinson racing pinions 48p metric http://cgi.ebay.com/Robinson-Racing-...item563b5224d2
These are supposed to be steel alloy but i find they only last a little longer than the aluminum tamiya ones.
The plastic spur in my mt-10 seems to be very hard and wears out pinions quickly.
or tamiya av pinions, http://cgi.ebay.com/Tamiya-50354-RC-...item1e5b47f1b5

RE: .06 Mod Pinion
48P is NOT the same as MOD .06.
I'm sitting here with a Tamiya TA05 M-Four and a bunch of 48P pinions and the .06 18T it comes with is bigger than the 48P 18T I already had.

You can't use 48 pitch with 0.6 mod. There is a big size difference<div>
</div><div>Here are some high quality 0.6 mod pinions</div><div>

</div><div>scroll down to the 0.6 mod section</div><div>
</div><div>Yeah Racing also sells 0.6 mod pinions but they arehard coated aluminium, not good against a steel spur but fine with a plastic one</div><div>
</div><div>Novak also sells 0.6 mod pinions, not sure how good they are, its says aluminium too</div><div>

0.6 is used in many Tamiya and Kyosho 1/10 cars. I discovered my HSP 1/10 Touring Car had 0.6 mod too!

RE: .06 Mod Pinion
That's what I found on Tamiya's website for the 18T that came with this M-Four kit.
I may just change it over to 48P gears using HPI or Robinson spurs. Hopefully they're the same bolt pattern for the hub.

RE: .06 Mod Pinion
Well, the 0.6 ones look a bit too big in the tooth, and I already have an abundance of 48P pinions from previous cars. I'm only inquiring because this car runs a 380 size motor and after taking a short drive today, the brushless Novak 380 I have was at 125F degrees. A bit hot I think for just a few short burst, so I may need to gear it down some. Rather buy two new 48P spurs than hunt for a difficult to find pinion. Thanks for those link though, I'll still take a look at them.

If you find a 48 pitch spur that fits, it will work. But its easier and cheaper to just buy a 0.6 mod pinion
