Loose aileron hinges?
the hinges on the ailerons on one wing seem loose. the aileron can be slid out (away) from the wing by an 1/8 to 1/4 inch. is this a problem andif it is how can i fix this. this plane is a used plane i purchased to get into the hobby. it has flown before (by the previous owner).
Thanks for the help

1). Yes, it's a problem.
2) The fix depends on the type of hinge.
3) Some people will sell junk to get your money out of it.
4) What kind of plane? Is it really suitable as a first plane?

Loose aileron hinges?
The hinges are small pieces of plastic spaced along the aileron. Don't have the plane in front of me but it seems like there are 4 hinges along the edge. Do I flex the aileron down and drop a few drops of thin CA on the plastice hinge and let it soak in to both the wing and then the aileron?

Pin them with tooth picks. use two per side.
4 hinges = 16 pins
use a drop of ca when you insert the tooth pick. cut them off flush with the surface, yes they will show, but your hinges will be secure.

Yes, drill small holes first.
MinnFlyer, is correct, you only really need one on each side, but I use two, so so they cannot pivot on the single pins.
This can also be accomplished by just using double pins on one hinge or just the inboard and outboard hinges, leaving the middle with just single pins.
