Look what I just got.[8D]the guy I got from bought it brand new and couldn't get it started. it still has the first tank of fuel in the tank. the piston looks clean and compression feels good. He just couldn't figure out how to get it started! the only problem with it is the glow plug was burnt because the one time he started it it revved up and quit but even if the engine is bad I still got a killer deal! I also got a gallon of fuel, 2 brand new futaba RX, TX sytems with servos one of the systems is still new in box, new Dynamite glow ignighter still in package and a fuel bottle. Not bad for $150!!!!

Chassis scrapes means he got it started some how. Did he break it in properly?

He said he got is started one time and couldn't start it again. I just put in a new plug and it fired right up! I am going to do the standard heat cyle on this engine and just assume it hasn't been broken it yet. So it is cooling right now. but it started easy and idle down nice and smooth.

Coxie: that will be hard to beat!!

nice find the fuel alone is $30

and the chassis scrapes coulda came from its breakin. I put my RC's on a brick and they get scrapes from the vibrations that are kinda similar.

I bet the guy ran the engine with the warmer left on the 1 time he ran it, and totaled the plug

nice job=D i never had any luck finding good deals on craiglist or kijiji... alot of people price things thinking they'll get close to the original price
i got a guy trying to sell a used baja ss for 800 that has 4 gallon thru it
lol with 800 almost enough to buy a new one

I have heat cycled it 3 times so far and this thing is idling nice and smooth I could just let it idle thfough a whole tank. and it starts real easy. I figure with the cost of the car new and everything that I got with it the value is around $450. the only thing missing is the body.

Man I love Craigslist. If you use Seachtempest.com it will search all the craigslists for you within what ever mileage you want it to. If that doesn't work try ************.com, bunch of great Rc'ers who have a little bit of everything.
