Default Yay FOC

Well after finally installing the FOC in my MGT 4.6, i can say without a doubt that i can tell a drastic difference in the amount of time it takes the car to literally move forward. Acceleration has also seen noticeable improvements. Bye bye reverse!

Also, this boils down to a tuning question more or likely, but once i hit second gear and the engine is at a pretty significant RPM, if i put on the breaks, the engine seems to stay at a high RPM for quite a while, almost a weird "powering down" sound if anyone knows what i'm talking about. But yea, freaks me out and i'm not sure if that's normal or if i'm too lean or rich on the low speed/high speed. Thanks guys!

ahh that could either be your clutch staying locked or the slipper clutch is just loose.  just make sure the slipper is tight enough first (cuz it is an easier fix)<div>then check that your clutch to see if it is still ok. mainly check the conditon of the springs</div>

I didnt notice anything like that happening when i install the FOC on my truck...so it may just be your slipper or clutch springs/shoes like only1battman suggested.
BUT i did notice the huge gain in acceleration...prolly due to that heavy metal clutch inside the tranny that is no longer needed when the FOC is installed

well yes there will be a gain in speed (less weight and rotating mass)
and a large gain in acceleration, again because of alot less rotating mass.
