I know that this question has probably been answered before, but here it is...
I ordered a Baxter gas bag from Gizmo, (who I have allways had excellent service from) and I'm looking for the proper break in procedure...
Sould I fill it up and leave it for a coupple of days? Once it cures should I drain that gas and start with fresh? Is synthetic oil ok to break in the bag?
Thanks for the help Boys!!!!

I agree with two out of the three answers from dan. However I like to drain the out the gas I use to condition the baxter bag.
I noticed that the one time I did not there seemed to be something floating inside the bag after the first run. I know it was not there when I fuel it. I run two filters in my fueled can so that eliminated it as a source but none in the boat. I thought it was worth taking the carb apart to see if any of that stuff had made it in. I found that the carb screen had a lot what I would describe as white fibers blocking it.
It could have been a bag that was not reinsed out properly don't know (not purchased from Bruce)... Since then I flush out the conditioning fuel. Just my .02.

best advice is make sure there is always no air and some fuel in the bag touching all areas, otherwise its possible a dry spot or dry seam will develope, or crack/split and leak later.
