Not bad,

But how about Amelia Earhart in Jackboots?

Now THERE would be a find!

Default There's an organization that IS looking for these...

Dear MinnFlyer and Jneesy:

The PIPE Here again-and if you check at http://www.tighar.org/Projects/Opsep.html for the "buried Nazi Luftwaffe planes" , and at http://www.tighar.org/Projects/Earhart/AEdescr.html about looking for Amelia, you've found an organization that's looking for a LOT of solutions to aviation's mysteries.

This "TIGHAR" organization has also been looking for the ENGINE of the Nungesser/Coli "L'Oiseau Blanc" [White Bird] French Trans-Atlantic biplane, that disappeared over the Round Lake Hills area of eastern Maine only HOURS before Lindbergh's Sprit of St Louis took off from Roosevelt Field to head across the Atlantic ITSELF in the opposite direction-and apparently there WERE fresh water sportsfishermen who DEFINITELY saw and heard the White Bird in her last monents of flight way back then.

Just thought I'd tell you about that one-and I'd bet TIGHAR is going to be checking out that "Scotsman" report about the buried Nazi planes!

Yours Sincerely,

The PIPE!

Default nazi planes

I have some doubts about fully fueled and armed aircraft being stored underground at the behest of the Russians. Such things were either put on an east-bound train for testing and evaluation, or simply bulldozed together in great heaps of scrap. There were a considerable number of underground factories built late in the war.

It's an interesting story, but it's not RC related.
