Default Walkera 36 setup

Hi,

I am helping a friend rebuid his Walkera 36 heli after he crashed it a while back and kind of gave up on RC heli's.

I have replaced main shaft and feathering shaft which were bent and am now busy checking the setup. Rotor head seems to be setup ok, but I am a bit concerned about the rudder.

When I move the rudder stick, the servo only seems to react when I move to the right, and never when I move left from center. Is this maybe a bad gyro? the stock gyro (PL0109-05D) How do I test this gyro?

Also, the servo is mounted on the tail boom at about 45 degrees - is this correct? Can someone maybe send me a photo of the position of the servo, servo horn and ball ?

Also, the transmitter is the stock transmitter (WK-0701) which has 12 dip switches on the back, problem is that the manual that I have and the various posts I have found describe a transmitter with only 10 dip switches.

Any advice on getting this heli bach into flight would be appreciated.

Chris
