Thanks to all for you votes.

Have a good day (if its day in your part of the world)

I honestly am dumbfounded the TT01 is considered better than most of those models. I mean the thing comes with friction shocks (or used to at least). It's a decent car, but come on. I guess people are voting for what they own. BTW I have 3 of em, It's a great beginner onroad for sure.

Otherwise, I am liking the list for the most part.

for a beginner a tt01 is great, i have a tb02 and its perfect for what i do (frontyard bashing) if your looking into serious racing then seriously consider AE, HPI XRAY...

the reason i think that it finished good because of i great parts support and its been around since 2003 and tamiya hasn't looked at replacing it. Its everything except sophisticated and and race ability.

esavagenoobie, have you forgot tamiya for serious racing?

electricguy007
before you ask, you adjust the front top shock positions on a tb03 by adding a 1mm spacer to the cantilever arm.<br type="_moz" />

I am quite certainly sure that Haddi Taha means the entire TT01 series. The TT01 E is a nice kit, so you might want to reconsider your final answer.

sorry i should've made it clear at the beginning that i mean the how platform including all the xxxx e, r, s, ifs, d, and all of those different versions of the same car.
anyway dragnes7en don't you think that my tb03 needs more bling? Sadly almost my whole drivetrain is bling which is covered so i can't see it

I came up for an answer to the tt01 thing, when you buy this chassis you feel safe that there will always be tonnes of spares and hops ups to the point you can build the car from seperately purchased parts, and that it is possibly the most sold touring car in the past decade.

lol you really love your ta05.v2r.
Don't worry when someone puts up the thread i will make sure ta05.v.2r is in.

Have you ever considered a carbon fibre chassis?

Are you talking about an Exotek chassis kit? I've got the carbon reinf. lower deck as the current chassis.

Can't believe you guys put the TA05 above the Cyclone S.. I have both cars and the Cyclone is allot better car hands down... and it can be upgraded to the full Cyclone TC spec.. if you want..

Cyclone carries allot more corner speed and can't be upgraded to the full spec car.. should be no 1... hehe

I guess you should have casted your vote, because I checked this entire thread and did not see you vote at all.

You're entitled to your opinion, but it would be real funny to see your Cyclone against my older TA05-R . . . . . hahaaaa!!!!

Pics.. the cars are a bit dirty as they have just come from the pit bag.. here are the Cyclone S's I have.. 1st one is what used to be my Cyclone S.. it did start life as a Cyclone S. But that's what I mean by upgrading it if u want it can be upgraded to the TC spec car..only use it as my 2nd car now since I got a TCX.. but this car runs awesome in anything from the zero timed classes all the way up to mod with a lrp 4.5 in it.. .. have another Cyclone S which my misses runs without the exotek chassis a few C/F upgrades and more plastic parts on it the car runs smooth and doesn't break that much.. and that is with her driving it and nearly hitting every car on the track...

Even though I have upgraded the cars the Cyclone S doesn't really need to be upgraded in standard form.. it actually has a bigger setup window in standard trim since the chassis has more flex it has more grip.. if u run it in slower classes leave it as it comes in the box... I only really upgraded them once we started running 17.5 boosted.
