Asa newbie, there seems to be more adjustment in you speed control(ESC) than the transmitter (controller). You can adjust the trim, (left and right). Throttle and brake min/max. And your left and right, turning. Hope that helps.

This question is too vague. You need to tell us what kind of vehicle, what kind of electronics, radio, motor, and style of driving. Their are always general things, but it's kind of hard to tell exactly what you mean. Do you want speed, handling, battery life, etc...?

its a himoto nascada it runs in and rc stockcar.it weighs 3.6 rtr.my esc is a novak rooster and my motor is a tamyiya rz superstock motor.also what would my diff ratio be? i want my final ratio in my car to add up to 8.26.i am currently running 21t pinion 61t spur.what pinion would i need to run to get it to around that final ratio? thats what the tt01s run and they are a lot faster.does it have something to do with the diff ratio?

I've never run on an oval track, but their are a lot of factors that contribute to speed. You can adjust how you tune your suspension, via springs, oil, and ride height; also, you can tweak your camber and those settings can change how fast you run through corners. When it comes to all out speed you want to have good bearings, make sure your motor is tuned right(if it's tunable),clean, maintained, and keep things as light as possible. Also, Lipos will make you go faster too. Gearing will have a GREAT affect on how fast it accelerates and how fast it goes top end. Obviously, when you gear for acceleration you lose top end speed, and when you gear for top end speed you lose speed in acceleration. You just need to play with your gearing until it's how you want it for your track.

to work out gear ratio spur divided by pinion times drive ratio = final drive ratio
