I once had a VXL in my b4 and it cogged as well.  I was using an FM tx/rx, but when i switched to 2.4ghz the problem went away.  This can also cause "cogging" like symptoms.

Oh, that's very true, I forgot to factor that in. I was just looking at the voltage which 2 6 cell NiMHs gives 14.4V and 2 2S in series will give you 14.8V. By the way, is there any lipos that fit in the mini Revo besides MaxAmps lipos?
yes
2200 2s zippies I hear fit (I wanna get some eventually) you gotta cut the battery box a little for the wires.

I run 2s 1300 $6 sky llipos in mine in parallel (they HAVE to be run in parallel due to low C-rating) on a HW 35A esc with the vxl motor.

i guess eventually from melting itself due to too much voltage, but i bet it would be insane while it worked!

I run the 2 in parallel
2 2s in parallel = 2S... The amperage ads up. so in my case 2 2S 1300mah 15C batteries = 2S at 2600mah with 15C(which puts it over what needed C-rating wise ).
in series its the opposite the voltage adds and the mah stays the same.

sorry for my inexperience, but can you put any 2 batteries together and achieve same voltage but double MAH??? And if so how???

well yes and no.
If voltages are the same yes they will add(not multiply it seems like multiplication due to the same capacity packs). you need a parallel connector
parallel connectors basically hook positive to positive, and negative to negative.

You technically can do it with packs of different amperage, but I would advise against that as one will get taxed heavier than the other if they are not the same capacity.
If they are the same capacity they should get the load split evenly between them.

So i can buy a "Y" parallel connector from Traxxas and run dual 7 cell 3300s and it will give me 8.4v and 6600mah???

no point in making a super capacity battery, run hard for too long and things are going to overheat and wear out.
