Any Local Racetracks in Illinois
Looking to get into r/c racing and for fun and want to know if there our any tracks in illinois. Or even skate parks where Ican use the r/c car. Probably going to get nitro team associated tc3 as my first car. I live in a suburb called mokena, il. I mean can you race these nitro cars on the streets or is it illegal?

There are a couple of tracks around the chicago area. There's Leisure hours in Joliet and the Round Lake Beach track just to name a couple.
It's not illegal to run these cars in the street but a lot of neighborhoods will not put up with the noise a Nitro makes. Around my area you start one of those things up and the cops will be here in 5 mins. Happens everytime one of my friends brings one over.

If that is the case you shouldn't have any problems. It typically neighbors that call the cops around here but I do live in a quite little neighborhood.
