Default savavage flux slow!!!

<span class="postbody">i just bought a used savage flux xl, I am running 6s 21/44 gearing, it seem slow and it hardly wheelie, did tighting the slipper and change different 2200kv motor, but still slow and not wheelie much. what could be the problem?</span>

Do you have the Castle Link? If you do set the ESC back to the stock settings. Also did the batteries come with the truck?

How hot is it getting? It's possible the previous owner cooked the motor and it's demagged.

low powerd batterys can choke out performanse, but id recomend usin castle link & gettn it on2 a pc.

da previous owner mite have turnd down max throttle from 100% to lyk 60%?


does it seem fastr in revers?

Good point about it being faster in reverse, xerxes.
There's an XL-length conversion available from HPI for the Flux, too.

BTW Ace, you're geared WAY too high...you should be running a 15t pinion on this combo as it sits depending on your actual temps after a 10 min run

i think i found the problem, I reset the esc, and i also found that one of the front drive cup is worn out near strip. thats gotta be the problems.
