You probably went rich due to the smaller prop. Your plug will probably start looking brown now. Just wait till you fly. This will be you ->

BTW, who sells Hawk props? Never heard of them.

Hey,

Yesterday I measured again rpms of my Dle 55 .After 10L 1:35 mix its turning 7650rpms [X(] with a MenzS 22x8 prop.,stock plug and muffler.
Thats ,what I call power. My Two well broken in Dl50s are turning cca 7400 on 1:_50 mix.
Awsome.............

That makes sense since the MenzS 22x8 is a little smaller than other 22x8 props. Regardless that's a healthy RPM. Both of mine turn 7400 RPM on a Xoar 22x8. What prop do you have on the two well broken-in engines?

I"m using Mett"s and Menz props on that engines, giving almost identical rpms with both brands.
And Yes,now I"m only using STIHL oil in all of my Dls.

Does anyone know the NGK plug to use in the DLE-55? Ive heard some replace the stock CM6 with a NGK, and another mentioned the stock plug CM6 was an NGK. My stock plug has no number or manufacturer at all on it.

The stock plug is not an NGK or aCM-6. Replace it with an NGK CM-6.

the right price should be around $2.79 at oriellys auto parts...dont know if you have them locally, if not just go to honda generators dealers and they has it.

The lower rod bearing seems to eventually give trouble in these. Don't go too lean on your oil ratio.
