What don't you like about the car currently? Start by upgrading that component. These cars do not need any upgrades right out of the box, so I say just drive it an enjoy it, no sense in upgrading unless you know it needs upgrades.

As i see you have AM-radio you could upgrade this to a 2.4 ghz instead, AM-radios is something i don't like at all as it is very sensitive to other signals that might disturb it making the car live its own life. As for upgrades i don't know where to point you, in fact you don't neeed any as these cars are very tough. You don't need two radios, just buy a computer radio and buy more receivers for it.

Go for the 2-speed. I would.. Stock it's more of a drifter I think..
