If you're talking about the "Monokote Secrets" video then I would say it's good for beginners, but it doesn't have any "secrets." I bought it hoping it would have some advanced techniques and was REALLY disappointed with it. In fact, there are two guys in the video tripping all over each other in a confined space with knives in their hands. Didn't seem like safety was much of a consideration when they made it.
Even so, it will teach a beginner how to put the stuff on. If you've already used iron on films successfully then the video won't show you anything you don't already know.
My best suggestion is to find someone in your club who does a good job with monokote and ask them to teach you.
