Default GP Cap 232 Builders, Engine Cowling Problem.

I am building a GP Cap 232 .40 Kit.
i started to use a TT Pro .46 engine. Then i came upon a great buy on an OS Surpass .70 engine.
So i am going to use it for this project.
The problem i have encountered, is that the OS .70 surpass doesnt seem to fit inside the Stock ABS Engine Cowling.
The side mounted engine leaves the Valve Cover too close the the right, or "starboard" side of the Engine Cowling.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Is this a Known issue?
And what did you do to get around this problem?
Thank much.
PS. any other info where this Kit is concerned would be helpful.

It would be rare to find a kit that size that the engine would fit completely in the cowl. Even most
.60 to 1.20 size birds have the cowl opened up for the head. the cowl will simple have to have a hole cut for head clearence. With the cowl off measure from a referance point on the fuse were the head is. Then take the
engine off and mount the cowl. Then you can mesure from the same referance point and mark the cowl were the
head should be and cut it out. Don't forget to make holes in the cowl to adjust both needle valves.
