motor won't fit ??
I am putting together an SS and wanted to use my Force 26 instead of the HPI but the Force doesn't have the same bolt pattern as the HPI. I checked to see if my Picco Outlaw motor would fit and it doesn't even fit over the motor frame that comes with the kit. What do yall use to fit the different motors in?

the force motor will not fit, you need to get the adjustable engine mount by GPM. The picco will drop right in. I have a force 25 in my savage and its got a ton of power.

I rechecked and you're right, the Picco lines up with the holes. The HPI motor mount needs some filing to fit but not a problem. Who carries GPM?

I put the force 25 in my savage. But i noticed the throttle wasn't opening all the way. Do you have this problem? Even though the throttle wasn't opening up all the way it would have my tires ballooning up. CHEERS

I got the Force 26 to fit. I had to drill two extra holes in the engine flanges but it went together after that. That's as far as I've gotten for tonight. Can't wait to get this truck going and check it out. Thanks for the help. Rob

i have two savages one with the gpm guard and one without.. i notice the one with the gpm guard makes the tank go in more towards the engine.. should i try putting my 25 into the one without the guard on it?
