Experimental Aircraft Arf's Anyone?
Anyone have any of these Arf's and built them? How good are the kits quality? Which one do you have and how do you like it?

Thinking of getting one?
Thanks

RE: Experimental Aircraft Arf's Anyone?
I have the Challenger II. I am sllllllooooowwwwwllllyyy puting together. the only problem, so far, that i've noted is the wing tips. it seems that the covering was causing the ends to warp, so when i had to glue the fiberglass tips on, they wouldnt fit. BUT it seems that EAM figured this out too, and said they were making changes. (didnt help me, but with a little zaggie tape, i was good to go) i hope to finish it this week and fly it this weekend (we'll see). the only other "bad" thing is the fuel tank. just because of the high mounted engine, the tank had to be mounted on top of the wing, so its small. very small. if i wanted, i guess i could get a pump and place a honkin big tank in the fuse. the fuse is so big, i could almost climb in i'll let y'all know!

I don't think that the price's are that bad for a scale .60 sized plane. Most Tower and Global planes of that size are only 20 to 40 dollars less. The good ones anyway.

Hey guys, i just bought the Glasair and on the photos i love the way they look but here is my opinion. I am not trying to knock the company at all but this should be addressed. I bought the Glasair and my buddy bought another one (different model) and we both noticed the cowlings arent painted or anything?? When i read the descriptions i didnt know that i would have to paint it also............ I was kind of bothered by that. And if they are "pre-painted" they should have taken the time to sand the joints down.
